Manchester United and Louis van Gaal have been trying to land that marquee signing throughout the summer, but eventually they came up short in that regard despite significantly improving the overall outlook of the first-team squad.
However the Iron Tulip could eventually get his wish, as according to fresh reports, Manchester United are willing to offer Neymar a huge £271,000-a-week contract to make the move to Manchester United.
If we could somehow land Neymar it’d be absolutely amazing. The Brazilian is without doubt one of the best players in the world at the moment, and you could argue that he is third only behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
One potential stumbling block could be the price tag. It was well documented that Barcelona paid way over £60million to bring the Brazilian to the Camp Nou, and you’d have to imagine United would have to approach the £100million mark, and possibly beyond to sign him.
