Manchester United have been handed a double injury boost ahead of their potentially tricky visit to Russia, as they take on CSKA Moscow in their third Champions League game. Both Antonio Valencia and Sergio Romero are set to be involved in the match day squad.
Louis van Gaal confirmed that they’ll both travel to Moscow, after failing to make the squad against Everton over the weekend due to jet lag after participation with Ecuador and Argentina respectively.
Thats fantastic managed by the Iron Tulip. He knows that the games will be coming thick and fast and to prioritise their fitness is obviously key – particularly in Antonio Valencia’s case.
Hopefully we can go to Russia and put in another dominating display in an away game. We desperately need the win in this one, as nobody has yet taken control of our Champions League group and earning an away win would certainly throw down a marker.
