Manchester United have been chasing that marquee signing since Louis van Gaal’s arrival at Old Trafford, and to this point that hasn’t materialised. However latest reports coming out of the Daily Star say United are planning a huge £65million move for Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
The Belgian was named the Premier League Player of the Year for last season, but this term has been a massive contrast, as he is yet to find the back of the net from open play.
His poor form has led to doubts about his long-term future at Stamford Bridge, with a whole host of clubs including United and Real Madrid sniffing around for the signature of the 25-year old winger.
There is no doubting he’d be a fantastic addition, but you cannot imagine any movement from Hazard until the summer at the very least, so we’ll have to sit tight and see if he can turn it around at Chelsea over the next few months.
