Manchester United ready to bid £40million to sign Belgian beast: report

Manchester United Football Club have already added Victor Lindelof to their ranks, and it seems clear that the Red Devils are doing all they can to bring in even more players. One name that has cropped up is that of Radja Nainggolan, AS Roma’s brilliant midfield powerhouse.

Now we’ve been given another update in Jose Mourinho’s pursuit of the 29-year-old, and it comes from Gazzetta dello Sport in Italy, translated by the Daily Mail. The Italian media outlet says that Manchester United are willing to bid up to £40million to sign the Belgium international, and they are also ready to offer him wages of £125,000-a-week.

Contact has already been made by Mourinho, and with Nainggolan being aged 29, AS Roma are aware of his decreasing value and could be prepared to part with one of their biggest stars.

I’m a huge admirer of Nainggolan’s, and I’m of the opinion that he is one of the best box-to-box midfielders in the modern day game. He’d vastly improve our starting XI, and a trio including him alongside Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera is certainly one that looks quite exciting on paper.
