Manchester United ready to make their move for out-of-contract man this summer

Manchester United could well be about to land one of the biggest free agency signings in the recent history of football, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is out of contract, and judging by recent reports he is looking to move to England for one final pay day.

According to the usually reliable Gianluca Di Marzio, both Manchester United and Chelsea would love to sign the 34-year old Swede this summer, but both know they’d have to stump up a lot of money to land the talismanic striker.

Whoever lands him are getting a man who would not only lead the line, but is a real influence off the field as well. It would be fantastic to have a man like him at Old Trafford as you feel he’d have a similar effect to that of Eric Cantona.

Its fair to say that everyone would love to see Zlatan Ibrahimovic come and play in England for at least a season or two, but if Louis van Gaal is in charge you highly doubt that move happening.
