Manchester United Football Club didn’t spend any money in the January transfer window, despite Jose Mourinho working wonders and selling both Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay for pretty good fees. However, it looks as though the Reds have big plans in place for the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United will make £130million available, so Jose Mourinho can sign two huge players – that the manager believes will make the Red Devils Premier League champions.
The players in question are Antoine Griezmann and Victor Lindelof, with the Mail stating that the men from Atletico Madrid and SL Benfica respectively, will cost the Old Trafford club a combined £130million.
This is a huge sum of money, but if anyone can afford to spend this amount of cash, it’s Manchester United. On top of that, you’d have great faith in the self-proclaimed Special One to spend it wisely – just look at the four signings he made over the summer.
Griezmann is one of the best players on the planet, and is making massive waves at Atletico Madrid at the moment. Lindelof is a huge talent from Sweden, and if he can come in and play anything close to the level of Eric Bailly, he’d be a great addition.
