Manchester United Football Club have received a huge injury boost, with Alexis Sanchez set to be fit to take on West Ham.
The Red Devils confirmed the news via their Twitter page, with Jose Mourinho telling MUTV that the Chile international will be ready to play, after missing the Brighton game with a minor injury.
Without Sanchez, the team looked way off the pace away at Brighton. Both Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford struggled to make any positive impact whatsoever as United looked to confirm themselves as Premier League runners-up.
Perhaps it was just an off day coupled with the fact that the aforementioned duo haven’t been playing all that much recently. But personally, I feel far more comfortable when Sanchez is in the starting XI.
He exudes confidence, works hard and has that tactical know-how that comes with age. A game away at West Ham United is going to be a real physical battle and you can bet on Sanchez putting in a real shift for the cause.
No doubt he’ll come in and retake his place on the left-wing. That leaves Rashford and Martial to fight it out for the striker role. Personally, I think Rashford will get the nod, but I’d love to see Martial get his opportunity.
