Manchester United are set to reward Jesse Lingard with a bumper new deal, according to the Daily Star, per The Metro.
Jose Mourinho has utilised the Englishman brilliantly this term, with the Warrington-born-winger having his best goalscoring season to date; scoring thirteen goals.
Despite the fact that Lingard signed a new long-term deal just last season, the Red Devils are ready to offer the 25-year-old a new contract worth £100,000-a-week after some insanely good performances.
It’s crazy to think that Lingard has been a Red Devils for two decades. Just like every single one of us, he loves the club dearly, and to see a homegrown product flourishing at Old Trafford is always a wonderful sight.
At United, you’ll always be fairly rewarded with new big-money deals if you’re playing well. Lingard hasn’t chased the wage-packet, instead, he’s just kept working hard while putting in some super displays and making a real name for himself. Now he’s reaping the rewards and I’ve absolutely no issue with that.
We’re now approaching the business end of the season and Lingard has always been a big-game player. Don’t bet against him scoring a late-winner that sees us progress in the Champions League on Tuesday night…
