Manchester United set to battle it out for signature of world class star

Manchester United and Louis van Gaal have been pushing hard to bring in a world class player since the Dutchman arrived at Old Trafford, but to this point that move has been largely unsuccessful. That could be about to change however, if the latest reports coming out of Spain are true.

Mundo Deportivo say that a whole host of top European clubs are readying a move to sign Neymar Jr, as his long-term future at FC Barcelona has been thrown into doubt.

Manchester United, Chelsea, City and PSG are all rumoured to be trying hard to convince the Brazilian to choose their club, and it’d be a major coup for United if they can pull this deal off.

Neymar is without doubt one of the best players in the world, and when Messi and Ronaldo decide to call it a day, he could well be the frontrunner for the Ballon D’or for many years to come.
