Manchester United Football Club are clearly keen to bring a big name player through the Old Trafford doors this transfer window, and with just six days remaining until the close of play, Louis van Gaal and his men behind the scenes will have to work their socks off.
According to the usually reliable De Telegraaf, Manchester United are set to sign a ‘big player’ worth up to £73million this summer. The Dutch publication go on to say that the signing is likely to be an attacker.
Over the last couple of windows De Telegraaf have been absolutely spot on regarding Manchester United news – they were the first to break the news that Louis van Gaal would become Manchester United boss, and they also got the scoop about Memphis Depay’s signature too.
With this media outlet being Dutch it wouldn’t be a complete surprise if the player we’re linked with comes from Holland. Perhaps Arjen Robben?
