Manchester United star attracting interest from top Italian club: report

The summer transfer window is just around the corner now, and it’s about the time of the season in which clubs begin planning and pondering about what new players to bring in. Now, we’re seeing plenty of rumours from a variety of different sources, and today, we’ve got another one for you.

Sports website Inside Futbol quote Calciomercato of Italy, as they claim that Juan Mata is being tracked by Serie A giants, Inter Milan. The Spaniard has featured heavily for the Red Devils this season, and Milan are weighing up the possibility of a summer move for the attacking midfielder.

Despite being injured right now, Mata sits second in our goalscoring charts with ten goals (only second to Ibrahimovic, who has 28). He’s also tacked on four assists for his teammates which goes to show just how crucial he has been to any success we have had this campaign.

Honestly, I don’t see any truth in this one. Mata must be loving life under Mourinho at the moment and I definitely think that he is getting a suitable amount of playing time. Why would he move to Milan and play at a lower level? No disrespect intended.

The 28-year-old is at the peak of his powers right now, and he seems like an ambitious fellow so thankfully for us, I think he’ll be here next season…
