Manchester United Football Club has been given a huge injury boost, with Ander Herrera returning to training, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The Basque-born midfielder has been out of action since United’s first-leg game against Sevilla, during which he had to be subbed off with a hamstring injury.
Now, the former Athletic Club man could make his return against Swansea City at the end of the month, following the international break.
His return comes at a good time as he now has a fortnight to get himself fully fit. Getting two weeks of training under his belt will be huge for Herrera, and don’t be surprised to see him involved against Swansea, because our midfield has been atrocious at times this season.
It has been a tough campaign for Herrera. Injuries have massively hampered his year and that could well cost him his place in the Spain squad for the upcoming World Cup.
I just hope that he can now stay fit until the end of the season as he’ll certainly make an impact on our race to finish in the top four while scooping the FA Cup.
