Manchester United star sells most jerseys in England – not Rooney

Manchester United made a £25million swoop to land Memphis Depay in the summer, warding off interest from the likes of PSG and Liverpool to sign the young man, and it looks as though the Dutch international has already gone a long way to bringing that transfer fee back in.

According to Kitbag.com, Manchester United’s Memphis Depay has sold the most replica kits in England so far this season, and the third most in the world behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

His meteoric rise to fame in the game has been heavily noticed by the fans whom expect big things from the 21-year old. He has certainly shown his abilities in the Champions League, and now the Old Trafford faithful will be hoping he can replicate that in the Premier League.

Bastian Schweinsteiger is fourth on the list, with Wayne Rooney sixth.
