Manchester United starlet speaks out on ‘dream debut’ given last month

Manchester United’s traditions of playing youngsters has been on display for all to see this term, with Louis van Gaal giving debuts to more than ten players this season. One of which was Donald Love, who made his debut against Sunderland last month, and he’s been speaking about that dream day.

“‘It’s not really hit me yet. It’s been a bit of a whirlwind. It was a dream come true.” Love began. “The manager told me after the Sunderland game I’d done well and was 1 of the better players. That gave me an extra confidence boost.”

The 21-year old from Rochdale has been at United for quite some time now, and its always extra special when a local lad gets the opportunity. Love’s versatility is without doubt his biggest selling point to Louis van Gaal, and if he keeps working hard, he’ll definitely get more chances.
