Manchester United head South to London this lunchtime, with Louis van Gaal facing a major selection dilemma due to a whole host of injuries running throughout the squad. The Dutchman has taken that opportunity to include several youngsters in the match day squad.
One of which is in the senior squad for the first time, with the manager giving a huge opportunity to young Marcus Rashford – who has been in outstanding form for the youth teams.
The 18-year old is the current captain of United’s U19 side, and has been in great goalscoring fashion recently. This is a huge chance for the young man, and if he gets his opportunity to get on the pitch at any point it would be a massive confidence booster.
Hopefully, if all is going well in the second half he could be thrown on the field to get his first taste of football at the highest level.
