All roads this summer seem to point to Jose Mourinho taking over, with it looking an inevitability that Louis van Gaal will lose his job. The self-proclaimed Special One has been there and done it in England, and he’d certainly be the correct man for the job if called upon.
According to the Daily Telegraph, Mourinho is also making transfer arrangements and is in direct contact with the United hierarchy, who have already outlined their transfer plans.
The English publication say that Mourinho wants to bring in both Renato Sanches and John Stones this summer as he is a huge fan of both.
It was just last summer when Mourinho made a bid of £40million to land John Stones whilst at Chelsea, but that was turned down by the Toffees and Stones has done excellent again this season.
Renato Sanches is making a name for himself out in Portugal, and clearly has talent in abundance. It would be a huge gamble bringing him in though, as adapting to the Premier League is never easy.
