Manchester United unwilling to terminate contract of want away keeper

Manchester United Football Club have no fewer than four keepers on their books at this moment in time, despite letting Anders Lindegaard go in the summer. One player who has seemingly been frozen out is Victor Valdes.

According to the Daily Mail, World Cup winner Valdes will remain in exile until at least January as Manchester United are unwilling to terminate the contract of the veteran.

Valdes, 33, signed for Manchester United on a free contract in January but after colliding with Louis van Gaal he has been completely frozen out of the first-team fold. He currently doesn’t have a squad number at the club and was left out of United’s Champions League group stage squad.

It doesn’t look like Valdes is going to play anytime soon, especially after the David de Gea dramatics, making him fourth choice at this moment in time.
