Manchester United are hoping to pull off a few big deals in the summer, and next on their wish list is one of European football’s biggest talents; Antoine Greizmann. The French international has been in scintillating form all season long for Real Sociedad, and United’s scout, David Friio has confirmed the interest whilst speaking to French paper L’Equipe.
I’d imagine United will face competition for his signature though, especially from big-spending teams such as PSG and Monaco from his native France. Sociedad could be tempted to let Greizmann go if the right offer is on the table for them, thought to be somewhere in the region of around £25million.
‘Griezmann would clearly bring something,’ United scout Friio told L’Equipe.
‘His versatility and technique, in a tournament where the gaps are reduced, are real assets.
‘You can’t score 15 goals in a great league without having real qualities.’
Only Cristiano Ronaldo, Alexis Sanchez and Diego Costa have scored more La Liga goals than Griezmann so far this season, he also has found the back of the net the same amount of times as Lionel Messi which in itself is very impressive.
