Manchester United are set to revive their interest in West Brom’s Saido Berahino when the transfer window opens in January, according to the Daily Express. The striker wanted to leave the Black Country in the summer, but West Brom knocked back every approach from Spurs for the 22-year old.
It seems a case of if rather than when Berahino will leave West Brom, and the earlier he does so the better it will be for all involved with his current club.
He’ll certainly cost a fair wedge though, with bids in excess of £20million rejected by Pulis over the last transfer market.
They’ll also be plenty of competition for his signature. Good English strikers are hard to come by at the moment, and if clubs like Tottenham also make their move for him that’ll mean his price will just go up even more.
