Manchester United hold a nice 3-0 lead from the first leg of their Europa League tie against Saint-Etienne, with Jose Mourinho’s men heading to France to complete the tie tomorrow night. However, they’ll be without one key man who has played a lot recently…
In my opinion, it seems to have completely gone under the radar that Ander Herrera is suspended, and I myself fully expected him to start. However, I was browsing Twitter and I saw David McDonnell mentioned the point that the lovable Spaniard will be missing the game – but it’s not the worst thing in the world.

It does give Jose Mourinho a chance to leave Herrera behind, allowing him to fully rest up for the upcoming EFL Cup final, which takes place at Wembley on Sunday afternoon.
Obviously, it probably means Marouane Fellaini will partner Paul Pogba tomorrow evening, but I actually don’t mind that combination and I think they’ll have more than enough to complete the job.
My only concern is that the energy, intensity and mobility may be lacking somewhat, so don’t expect the most fluid of midfield displays, but I believe we’ll progress.
