Manchester United have long been known as the club that always puts youth before spending big money on proven players, and that looks set to continue. Louis van Gaal has given major opportunities to three players who have been awarded with the chance to train with the first team.
Josh Harrop, Donald Love and James Weir have all been involved with the main group of players this week, claim the BBC.
This is a huge chance for all three of them to impress Louis van Gaal at first-hand, and I’m certain that the trio will definitely take their opportunity.
They have all thoroughly impressed U21s manager Warren Joyce over the last few years, and perhaps the one most likely to go all the way would be Donald Love, the centre-back. With United’s lack of any real depth at that position, he could well get his chance if a few injuries were to occur.
