Manchester United’s 21-year-old frustrated with his current situation at the club

Manchester United Football Club have been on a poor run recently, and currently, they are three games without a win in the Premier League. One man who hasn’t featured from the start in a league game of late is Anthony Martial, and the Frenchman is currently feeling frustrated at the club.

That’s according to the usually reliable James Ducker, who wrote an article on Anthony Martial for The Telegraph. Ducker says that the 21-year-old forward was disappointed with Mourinho’s decision to drop the star back to the bench after his display against Wigan; as he thought he’d done enough to keep his place.

With only two league goals to his name so far, you can sort of understand why Jose has tried other options in his position, and let’s be honest, it was a poor Wigan Athletic side that he had a decent 45 minutes against.

At the highest level, he’ll have to do much more than that to earn his place in the side for the league matches, but of course, he’s more than talented enough to win over the manager.

It’s a tough situation because we all know how talented Martial is, just look at what he did last season. However, Jose has plenty of options out wide, including the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard. It’s up to United’s #11 to bide his time, and when he gets his chances, he has to take it.
