Manchester United Football Club were expected to announce the arrival of Jose Mourinho today, but now, its looking like no official statement will be made until Thursday at the earliest. Thats according to David McDonell who writes for the Daily Mirror.
Despite the fact that personal terms have been agreed, Edward Woodward and Jorge Mendes are still in discussions regarding the deal, with a few stumbling blocks that still need ironing out.
United are still relaxed about the situation, and they fully expect those little problems to be sorted out before the end of the week.
The self-proclaimed Special One will certainly bring the excitement back to Old Trafford, and the Portuguese manager is a born winner. Despite the lack of Champions League football, he is a coach who can lure the big names to a club purely because of who he is.
Jose Mourinho’s first game in charge will be a friendly against Borussia Dortmund on July 22nd.
