Manchester United’s confirmed squad for Palace game missing one crucial attacker

Manchester United’s preparations for the away trip to Crystal Palace are well underway, with Jose Mourinho hoping to guide his side to back-to-back Premier League victories for the first time in well over two months. The game will not be easy however…

The guys over at the Manchester Evening News have obviously been working hard to try and figure who’ll be involved in the matchday squad, and they noticed one massive absentee.

Anthony Martial was not spotted by their reporters, and at this time it isn’t clear as to whether he’s definitely out of the match against Crystal Palace. But it’d be a bit bizarre if he was involved now as he wasn’t travelling down with his teammates.

Hopefully, the Frenchman isn’t injured or anything like that, and it’s just a tactical move by Jose Mourinho to rest the talented Frenchman. There has been no official word what’s going on at the moment, so we’ll just have to wait and see.

There was some better news however, with Bastian Schweinsteiger travelling South with the rest of the 19-man squad and the coaching staff.
