Manchester United’s forgotten man insists he is happy at Old Trafford

Manchester United Football Club made somewhat of a bizarre move when Louis van Gaal brought in Sergio Romero on a free transfer. The Argentinean number one had a solid World Cup, helping his side reach the final before losing out to Germany.

Romero began the season as United’s number one, but David de Gea has now retaken that role, and Romero is staying upbeat about the whole situation.

“I am happy at Manchester United. I am at one of the most important English teams and one of the most important teams in the world.” Sergio Romero said.

Lets not forget that it wasn’t that long ago that Romero was completely without a club and struggling with nobody looking likely to pick him up. He is now playing for one of the best clubs in the world – Manchester United.
