Manchester United’s main man suffers hamstring problem with FA Cup final looming

Manchester United could be sweating on the fitness of their key outfield player ahead of the FA Cup final. Anthony Martial pulled up during the warm-up before United’s game against Norwich earlier today, and it is believed he felt a tight hamstring.

The 20-year old has been huge for Louis van Gaal this season, with the Frenchman coming up with plenty of huge goals in his debut season at Manchester United.

Now, with just two league games left, it looks as though Martial will be a major doubt for both of them. After that comes the FA Cup final, and it would be horrible for the man who got us there with that last minute goal against Everton, misses the biggest game of our season.

It was plain for all to see that United were desperate for Martial and Rashford to be on that pitch today, with their pace really lacking in the side. Wayne Rooney did well up top all things considered, but in the long-term, United’s captain has to be deployed as a midfielder.
