Manchester United haven’t had the best of weekends, as the club dropped more points at home to Burnley. It was a game in which the home side should have absolutely destroyed the visitors, but somehow the ball just wouldn’t go into the back of the net.
Their problems are now set to worsen as well, as Jose Mourinho faces a stadium ban for his bust-up in the tunnel with referee on the day – Mark Clattenburg.
That’s according to the Daily Mirror, who say that the FA are fed up with the United manager just constantly getting fined, which don’t really have an effect on the multi-millionaire manager.
Although no amount of games has been mentioned in terms of a ban, you’d imagine it won’t be more than a couple. However, after the Swansea game which comes up this weekend, United play host to an Arsenal side who are playing some good stuff at the moment, so we’d need to hope he’ll be back in the dugout for that.
Jose has until 6pm on Wednesday to respond to the charge.
