Manchester United’s talented first-team defender set for loan

Jose Mourinho’s unwillingness to experiment and put faith in youth has been clear for all to see throughout his career. However, he does have plenty of talents at his disposal at Old Trafford. It looks as though we’re about to see somewhat of a casualty, with one set to go out on loan.

That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, who say that Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has discussed the possibility of a loan move away from Old Trafford with Jose.

Although no deal is in place, it does look like a possible option for the man who had a key part in the squad under Louis van Gaal last term. It’s clear that his long-term future will be at United though, as he put pen to paper on a new long-term contract back in May.

Personally, I’d love to see Cameron Borthwick-Jackson stay at Old Trafford and be backup to Luke Shaw. The Mancunian is supremely talented, and there aren’t many better crossers of a ball in the Premier League at the moment.
