Picture: New Marcus Rashford campaign flag spotted in Wythenshawe

Marcus Rashford has turned into a true man of the people, with his hometown unveiling yet another quality flag in his honour…

After the ‘Rashford 1, Boris 0’ banner appeared back in June, our star striker has made it his mission to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry at night.

It’s fair to say the Englishman is working tireless off the field to achieve his goal, despite several setbacks from the government and powers-that-be. To his credit, Rashford isn’t giving in.

Instead, with each knockback, United’s #10 continues to show 10 Downing Street how it’s done. Rashford is speaking from experience. He doesn’t care about politics. All he wants to do is #EndTheRumble and ensure the generation of tomorrow aren’t starving.

Anyway, after Rashford’s latest efforts, a new sign has appeared in Wythenshawe, in exactly the same place as the last. This one reads, ‘A Humanity United’, along with the hashtag, #EngChildPoverty. The message is simple. Thanks to BBC Radio Manchester for the image, too.

Rashford just wants to ensure youngsters don’t have to go through the struggles he went through. What’s not to like about that?

For one so young, Rashford is showing a maturity beyond his years. What’s also awesome to see is that his on-field performances aren’t dipping as a result. This is a young man who is still performing at a high level and scoring important goals for his beloved Red Devils.

It has been said time and time again. In fact, it’ll never be said enough. Rashford, you’re a hero. We’re lucky to call you one of our own and we’re so fortunate you’re flying this flag proudly.
