Again, December was a hit and miss month for Manchester United, though once more, Marcus Rashford’s form was absolutely top-drawer.
The young striker is going from strength-to-strength right now and this will be remembered as the season where he kicked on and took his game to that next level.
December was probably his best month yet. The forward scored goals galore and it big games against Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, too.
For his exploits, Rashford was voted both PFA Player of the Month and Man Utd player of the Month – and rightly so. Below is a photo of Rashford, all-smiles, with the United trophy.
After claiming 37 per cent of the vote, beating out stiff competition from Trent Alexander-Arnold, it’s just nice to see Rashford getting the praise he deserves from people outside of United.
He’s a top young man and an even better footballer who we’re lucky to call one of our own. The scary thing is that he’s still so young and has many years ahead of him to grow and improve.
Right now, he’s sat on 16 goals for the season which is already his best tally. Surely he should be looking at finishing the campaign with 25+ which would be a tremendous return for a left-winger.
Congratulations, Marcus!
