Manchester United’s form has been wonderful lately. We’ve gone from having an attack that looked toothless under Jose Mourinho, to a frontline that looks like scoring in every game they play.
That’s largely down to Marcus Rashford being in the form of his life after being reverted back to the main striker.
He’s been sensational since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge at the wheel, and Rashford doesn’t look like letting up. For his brilliant month of January, the young man was named United’s Player of the Month; edging out Paul Pogba for the award.
Shortly after, Rashford took to social media to send a message of thanks to the fans.
He carried us at times over the last few weeks. Rashford scored the only goal against both Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City, while scoring the winner against Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford.
As he correctly states, February is another huge month and one that could define our season. We play in both the Champions League and FA Cup, while also facing some massive tests in the Premier League.
If we come out of this month with our unbeaten record in tact, we have a great shot at winning a trophy and finishing in the top four – but that’s far easier said than done.
Congratulations, Marcus! Keep it up.
