Manchester United and Aston Villa go head-to-head in the Premier League’s early kick-off this lunchtime, where football will probably take a backseat for the opening ten minutes as a plane with an anti-Moyes banner attached to it will hover over Old Trafford. It all sounds a bit ‘Liverpool’ to me…
Yes, I am firmly in the corner which suggest Moyes simply isn’t good enough to be Manchester United manager but this plane banner is all a bit harsh if you ask me. Anyway, onto the football – Villa have been super on the counter attack today and United have been atrocious at home, so I think this one will be much tougher than most people think.

Manchester United sit sixth in the form guide after the horrific losses to Liverpool and Manchester City, having amassed 10 points out of a possible 18. Villa are currently 13th after picking up seven points in the same period.
Last six in the league
Manchester United: DWWLWL – 10 points
Aston Villa: LDLWWL – 7 points
A Danny Welbeck inspired performance led United to a 3-0 victory at Villa Park back in December, and the Manchester-born striker will be hoping for more of the same this afternoon.
United have no fewer than four injury concerns ahead of the game today. Robin van Persie will definitely miss out after his knee problem, but they’ll be late fitness tests for the defensive trio of Nemanja Vidic, Chris Smalling and Jonny Evans.
Score prediction: United 2-1 Villa
Benteke to score early and give Villa the lead. Juan Mata and Shinji Kagawa to drag United back in it with some super link-up play.
