Its finally here – The Manchester derby. United and City go head-to-head for the second time this season, with nothing but pride on the line for the home side. The pressure will be all on City, who are still in the hunt for the title and many experts suggest that this one could be another 6-1 humiliation.
Moyes’ men have been on a good run of late, but always seem to fail against the sides above them in the table. Hopefully that’ll change tonight as we’ve been putting in some much better performances over the past few weeks.

Manchester City sit second in the form guide after winning four of their last six games as they try to increase the pressure on Chelsea who sit top of the table. United themselves seem to be finally finding some decent form, and have only lost one of their last six in the league, winning three and drawing two.
Last six in the league
Manchester United: DDWWLW – 11 points.
Manchester City: WLDWWW – 13 points.
City 4-1 United
The meeting early on in the season was one of the most forgettable moments for United fans this season. The only player to come out of that game with any credit whatsoever was Wayne Rooney who scored an excellent free-kick late on.
Robin van Persie has been ruled out for the season, so he’ll definitely miss this one. Nemanja Vidic is banned after getting sent off against Liverpool, but he’s believed to have a groin strain. Defensive trio Jonny Evans, Chris Smalling and Rio Ferdinand will all undergo late fitness tests as will Antonio Valencia who injured his eye against Olympiacos.
Score prediction: United 1-0 City
