Match Preview: United vs Yokohama Marinos

United face Japanese side Yokohama Marinos tomorrow morning, in the third game of United’s pre-season tour. The boss is likely to ring the changes again, with David de Gea and Robin van Persie both expected to start their first games of the tour.

David Moyes will be hoping for a repeat of Saturday’s performance in Sydney, as his side ran out 5-1 winners against the A-League All Stars, giving him his first win as manager of the Reds. You can watch the goals here.

Michael Carrick is a doubt for the game with a groin injury, but Jonny Evans and Alex Buttner should be in contention as they near full fitness after recovering from injuries themselves.

Ashley Young and Chris Smalling have joined up with the squad following injuries sustained last season, along with Shinji Kagawa, who has recently been in Confederations Cup action with Japan.

Score prediction: Manchester United 3-0 Yokohama Marinos

Kick-off is at 11.20 BST and the game will be available to watch on MUTV.
