Medical done, personal terms agreed, 31-year-old set to leave Man United: report

Manchester United are certainly being taken in a completely different direction under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. For that, he deserves immense credit.

The Baby Faced Assassin is trying to help the Red Devils rediscover their identity, and he’s making that happen as quickly as possible. One player who has often been criticised for not fitting in with United’s typical mantra is Marouane Fellaini. Now, it looks as though he’s on his way out…

That’s according to the BBC’s Simon Stone, who says that the 31-year-old has agreed personal terms, and undergone a medical ahead of a move to China.

After only signing a new contract just this summer, this transfer came as somewhat of a shock but you do feel it’s the correct decision. In the right system, Fellaini can be a brilliant player but unfortunately, he was never a regular at United – although he had some good moments.

You do feel for the Belgian in the regard that he was never really loved by the Old Trafford crowd, but every time he took to that field he left everything on the line. For that, we all have to be grateful. He never once disrespected the club or the badge – whatever was taking place behind the scenes.

I wish him huge luck out in China and I genuinely hope he enjoys the rest of his career.
