My Starting XI vs. Everton

With the signing of Robin van Persie complete, it really does give SAF a massive problem choosing the 11 players who will start vs. Everton on Monday night. Whoever he goes for, there is no doubt our bench is also going to be full of stellar names. It certainly bodes well if we want to regain our title back.

In net, I would go with De Gea. He had a solid run in the team towards the end and certainly justified some of his hefty price tag. I’m not sure Rafael will be ready to go straight away, for that reason Valencia would be my choice at right back. Up top, I think it is perhaps to soon for Robin, so i’d go with Rooney alone, with Kagawa just behind him.

My Starting XI

De Gea; Valencia, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Young, Carrick, Cleverley, Nani; Kagawa, Rooney

Bench: Lindegaard, Rafael, M.Keane, Anderson, Welbeck, RVP, Giggs

RVP to start with Rooney, if we are gonna get our title back we need to bang in loads of goals so why not just go all out!

  4. He’d be in my starting XI most of the time, I just think it’s a bit to early, not 100% ready.
