Nemanja Vidic released from hospital

After the horrific challenge our club captain Nemanja Vidic suffered courtesy of his own goalkeeper, the big Serb’s game was cut short due to concussion. Vidic was sent directly to hospital after the incident where they conducted various tests, and they allowed him to leave on Sunday night.

United struggled in the second half without their warrior of a captain, but managed to overcome Arsenal with Robin van Persie scoring the only goal of the game.

Vidic now has two weeks before United next play again, giving him plenty of time to recover and hopefully he’ll be back in the starting XI when we head to Wales to take on Premier League newcomers Cardiff City.
