New Manchester United manager set to be given £300million to spend this summer

It seems that Manchester United are seriously considering sacking Louis van Gaal this summer, although no decision will likely be made before the end of the season. According to some reports, the trigger will be pulled and Jose Mourinho will be the man in charge next term.

The Daily Star also go one further than that, and say the self-proclaimed Special One will be given a huge £300million transfer budget to spend on new players to help improve the playing squad.

If any club can afford to splash £300million it is Manchester United, and the Star say Mourinho has some big-name targets in mind, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Edinson Cavani, Thomas Muller, Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane.

Change is almost certainly needed at Old Trafford, and there aren’t many better managers out there than Jose Mourinho. Lets face it, he has been craving the Manchester United job or years, and he definitely has the ability to bring the glory days back to the red half of Manchester.
