Manchester United will sign Everton’s Romelu Lukaku, after the club took to social media to confirm that a fee has been agreed with The Toffees. As per usual, the deal is subject to a medical and the agreement of personal terms, but it looks like he’ll become our new striker.
What an exciting time for Jose Mourinho and the squad. They are getting an absolute powerhouse of a forward to feed the ball into, and make no mistake about it, this will be an insane signing.

Last season, Lukaku scored a stunning 25 league goals for the Merseyside club, and you’d imagine that he’d be hoping to better that tally with the vast improvement in the quality of service that’ll be coming his way over the next twelve months.
Obviously, Manchester United were desperate to sign a new striker to replace Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and credit to Edward Woodward for getting this move done behind the scenes, when it looked for all the world like Alvaro Morata was our number one transfer target.
Now, it is just a waiting game. Here is to hoping that the club can push this over the line in time for our first friendly against the LA Galaxy on July 15th.
