Manchester United Football Club came oh so close to lifting the FA Cup last term, but-for an Eden Hazard penalty to snatch it away from our grasp.
The good thing about football? There is always another chance. For United, their FA Cup campaign begins in January at the third round stage.
Today, the draw was made and the Red Devils have been handed a favourable matchup, with a home tie against Reading in the offing.
It feels as though we’re always matching up against The Royals in cup competition lately, but thankfully, it’s a match-up we often tend to win.

When this tie rolls around, I’d like to think that the club will be in a much better place than where they’re at now. From top to bottom, we’re struggling. Be it down to ownership, management or the players that are in the dressing room, I just don’t know anymore, but we need a change in mentality immediately.
Ties like this when you’re not feeling confident can be dangerous, and realistically, the FA Cup is our best chance at winning silverware this term.
The tie will be played over the weekend of 4th-7th January.
