Paper Round-Up: Zlatan done, Mkhitaryan close, striker rejects contract

Manchester United have finalised their second signing of the summer, and it’s a huge one. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has put pen to paper on a one-year deal at the Theatre of Dreams, after leaving Paris Saint-Germain when his contract expired.

Many didn’t believe the club would be able to land a player of Ibrahimovic’s calibre without the lure of Champions League football, but the deal has been done.

Today, there are already plenty of pictures of the influential Swede donning his new United jersey, as well as a timely welcome to the club by David de Gea.

In terms of transfer rumours, it looks as though a deal for Henrikh Mkhitaryan is already in place and could happen extremely soon. There is also news of a contract rejection, as Ashley Fletcher looks all set to sign for West Ham.
