Manchester United have been on a remarkable run under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The Red Devils are back, and I must admit, it feels absolutely fantastic.
As is always the case, though, there are detractors. All the Baby Faced Assassin has heard is how his victories have come against lesser teams, when in fact, it was these sides that Jose Mourinho struggled against.
Today, however, Solskjaer shut everyone up as his United went away to Tottenham Hotspur and were excellent value for all three points.
It has been nice to see the media praise United over the last 12 hours or so, but perhaps the best thing I’ve seen came from Patrice Evra. Shortly after the game, the legendary Frenchman took to Twitter to send a simple message to the ‘haters’.
Honestly, can we just get this guy on the staff at Old Trafford? He loves this club like a fan, and he has always defended United even through the bad times.
Surely there must be some sort of motivational or speaking role that he’d be perfectly suited to? Just having his presence at the club can only be a positive as his personality is just so infectious.
Obviously, he’s only having a joke with his fans and followers, but you just have to love this man! Well played, Patrice.
