Paul Pogba drops huge Antoine Griezmann hint amid Manchester United interest

Manchester United Football Club made one of the biggest summer transfers around twelve months ago, with Jose Mourinho spending a world record amount to bring in Paul Pogba. The midfielder has been a brilliant acquisition, for the most part, playing a huge role in our Europa League victory.

One of Pogba’s international colleagues, Antoine Griezmann, has been constantly linked with a move to Manchester United and the transfer period doesn’t officially open for another week or so.

Now Pogba was asked the question about whether he’ll be playing with Griezmann next season, and the 24-year-old responded with ‘watch this space’ whilst doing Griezmann’s traditional ‘hotline bling’ celebration. It all came via French media outlet Telefoot.

Pogba’s response was: “Play with Antoine Griezmann next season? Watch this space.”

There is a video of that interview below (note it is in French) via Telefoot:

This is a transfer move that would excite the fans like no other. Antoine Griezmann is one of the best attackers on the planet, and at times he has single-handedly carried his teammates through games.

At 26, he’s right in his peak years and now would be the perfect time to swoop for his signature. If the deal does go through our French contingent seems to be building nicely, heck, three of our starting front four could hail from France; Pogba, Griezmann and Martial.

He definitely wouldn’t come cheap, however, that’s just the price you pay when you want to bring in proven footballers and if any club can afford him, it’s Manchester United.
