Manchester United Football Club were dealt a huge blow before the Red Devils’ crunch match against Manchester City. Paul Pogba was ruled out with injury, and with the Frenchman being our most important midfield option, his absence in the game was telling.
The 25-year-old did jet off to Clairefontaine to meet up with the France national team, but he has since been pulled from the squad as he looks to get himself back fit to go for United’s game against Crystal Palace following the international break.
Now, Pogba himself has taken to Instagram to update United fans’ in regards to his condition. The #6 didn’t put an exact timeframe on his return, but he has stated that he’ll be ‘back soon’…

Although Pogba may not be everyone’s cup of tea, his overall influence cannot be denied. His creativity, on-ball ability and sheer talent is just far better than anything else that we have, and without him, United just don’t look the same.
Hopefully, the problem isn’t anything too bad, and I think the fact that he travelled to France to link up with the rest of the squad is telling. To me, that suggests that he doesn’t feel too far away from a return, but now, he has a fortnight to get himself back fighting fit.
