Things are currently looking rosy for Manchester United under the guidance of Louis van Gaal, which was stark contrast to his predecessor David Moyes – who single-handedly managed to turn United into a Premier League laughing stock in under twelve months. Everyone expects Ryan Giggs to take over the role on a full-time basis after Van Gaal, but it just may be someone else…
In his new autobiography, Pep Guardiola has revealed that one day he can see himself managing Manchester United football club. Many thought that when Sir Alex retired, Pep was going to be the man to take over, instead United plumped for David Moyes…
In his book, when talking about Manchester United, Guardiola said:
“I like this atmosphere. I could see myself coaching here one day.”
Theres no doubting Guardiola has an extremely impressive CV, winning many titles at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich, and he’s only 43 years of age. He certainly has a bright future ahead of him as a manager, and his style of play is certainly easy on the eye.
I’d love him at United one day, but for now lets focus on getting back into that top four under the shrewd guidance of Louis van Gaal.
