Phil Jones ruled out for ‘a few weeks’

Phil Jones will be sidelined for ‘another few weeks’ according to England boss Roy Hodgson. The Three Lions manager held a press-conference to explain his squad selections for the upcoming friendly, and he confirmed the news that United fans didn’t really want to hear.

Phil Jones has definitely been one of our better performers in what has been a dire season so far, and it seems like he always picks up little niggling injuries that keep him out for a few weeks at a time.

With Jonny Evans out injured too, our defensive options are being pushed to their limits at the moment. We’ve only got Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic and Chris Smalling fit, with the latter filling it at right-back due to Rafael being sidelined.

I cannot remember so many injuries, many from training, is the system over doing it at Carrington ? Another out dated idea from our ‘manager’ ?

    • Not so sure, Phil Jones has always had injury troubles.
