Photo: David de Gea and Ander Herrera pictured on international duty

Manchester United Football Club are currently on a two-week hiatus due to the international break, meaning Jose Mourinho has some time to meticulously plan for the huge game coming up against Liverpool. The match will be a real struggle, but before that we have internationals to watch.

This break saw a first call-up for Ander Herrera, which is obviously massive for him more than anyone else. It really was a deserved bit of recognition for our smiling Spaniard, who has made an immediate impact on the first-team since becoming a regular again.

Now 27, I bet he thought the call was never going to come, but the joy on his face when he picked up the phone must’ve been such a proud moment for him, and I’m genuinely over the moon for him.

Another man who is obviously thrilled at having one of his best mates in the Spain squad is David de Gea, and it’s nice to see a couple of reds mixing it with the very best at one of the best footballing countries on the planet.
