Manchester United’s hopes of finishing in the top four were dealt a cruel blow last night, when Louis van Gaal’s men were stunned by a spirited West Ham. Before that though, Sir Alex Ferguson was out having lunch with a potential Manchester United manager.
United are big fans of Mauricio Pochettino, and The Sun snapped the Argentine holding a ‘secret meeting’ with Sir Alex Ferguson. The Spurs manager is one of the favourites to succeed Louis van Gaal at Old Trafford, and this will further fuel the fire in that regard.
Check out the snaps here:
If I personally could choose one man to come in as Manchester United manager, I’d go for Mauricio Pochettino every time. I just feel that he fits the mould perfectly in terms of style.
He loves to promote youth, he plays attractive football and this season he has shown just what he can do, despite his Spurs team coming up just short.
It may be tough to prise him away from White Hart Lane at the moment however, but as always, money talks, and United can certainly offer him plenty of that.
