As of yet, we’re still waiting on official confirmation that Manchester United have signed Alexis Sanchez, however, the Daily Express have compiled some excellent Photoshops with the Chile star in Red Devils colours.
First of all, it’s worth pointing out that these pictures aren’t real, they’ve come from some incredibly gifted computer wizards, but they do look rather accurate in comparison to transfer announcements United have made in the past.

As you can see, Sanchez is holding up a #7 jersey, which is the number that I believe he should be handed. It’s draped in history and has been worn by some of the greatest players in history, so let’s continue that tradition by giving it to someone who’s going to be our new hero.
I just cannot wait for this deal to get completed now. Sanchez is up there amongst the best players on the planet, and to be able to secure him while in his prime, from a direct rival no less, is exciting.
It’s now just a waiting game, but the United hierarchy will have to act quickly if they want to secure a deal in time for Sanchez making his debut this weekend. They’ve until 12:00 BST tomorrow, which is approaching rapidly.
