Manchester United had a relatively successful February, as Jose Mourinho’s men maintained their position in second place in the Premier League table, while progressing through to the FA Cup quarter-finals.
A large portion of their success was once again down to David de Gea, who continues to impress with some unbelievable saves.
For his hard work, the Spaniard has been awarded Manchester United’s February Player of the Month trophy; the fourth time he’s won the honour in his Old Trafford career.

I just cannot get over that save he made against Sevilla. Luis Muriel was only a few yards out, leaving De Gea with less than half a second to react to it; but my he did just that, it was probably the best save I’ve ever seen in my life.
At the start of the year, Nemanja Matic or Romelu Lukaku would have been my pick for United’s Player of the Season, but right now it certainly feels as though De Gea is going to win the award yet again. It’d be deserved, purely because of how many points he single-handedly wins us every season, and we’re lucky to call the best goalkeeper in the business our own.
